Role Description The Associate Software QA Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Day-to-day tasks include executing manual test cases, performing regression and functional testing, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. The role involves reviewing requirements and specifications, contributing to test planning, and helping to maintain clear testing documentation and reports. The Associate Software QA Engineer also participates in continuous improvement of QA processes and supports the team in delivering stable releases.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance practices.
Hands-on experience with Manual Testing techniques and test case execution.
Basic understanding of Software Development concepts and the software development lifecycle.
Ability to write clear test cases, defect reports, and documentation with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, remote teams.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous learning.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and version control systems is beneficial.
