Role Description The Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. This role involves designing and executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with software developers to resolve issues. The engineer will assist in preparing test plans, documenting test results, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards. Day-to-day activities include participating in requirement reviews, validating new features, performing regression testing, and supporting releases to ensure a smooth deployment experience for users.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance to effectively evaluate and improve product reliability.
Candidates should possess skills in Manual Testing to design, execute, and document test cases across different platforms and environments.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development to understand code behavior, collaborate with engineering teams, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and version control platforms.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Exposure to automation testing concepts and scripting languages is a plus.
