Role Description This full-time remote Business Data Analyst role focuses on turning data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and cleaning data from multiple sources, performing quantitative and qualitative analyses, and building reports, dashboards, and visualizations. The Business Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics, interpret trends, and identify opportunities for process improvement or revenue growth. The role also involves developing and maintaining data models, documenting assumptions and methodologies, and presenting findings in a clear, business-focused manner. The analyst is expected to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and proactively recommend data-driven solutions.
Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and translate findings into clear business insights.
Hands-on experience with data analytics and statistics, including working with large datasets, basic statistical methods, and data visualization tools.
Proficiency in data modeling, including designing and maintaining logical and conceptual data models that support reporting and analysis.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and create concise reports and presentations.
Preferred experience with analytical tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Python or R, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
Experience in a technology or IT services environment is beneficial but not required.
