Role Description The Java System Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting Java-based systems and applications. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with organizational goals. The role involves performing systems analysis, identifying issues, and troubleshooting complex problems in production and test environments. The Java System Analyst will also participate in solution design, system optimization, documentation, and continuous improvement of processes and application performance.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Systems Analysis and Business Analysis skills to interpret requirements and design effective solutions.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and resolve system and application issues.
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Information Technology, including experience with Java-based applications and related frameworks.
Candidates should possess familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), requirements gathering, and system testing practices.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Additional beneficial skills include experience with databases, APIs, version control systems, and working in agile or iterative environments.
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
