Role Description The Photo Editor role at EgoTECHworld is a full-time, remote position focused on creating polished, visually engaging imagery for digital platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing and retouching photos, adjusting color and lighting, optimizing images for web and social media, and ensuring visual consistency across projects. The Photo Editor will collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to interpret creative briefs, select appropriate visuals, and meet brand guidelines. The role may also involve researching suitable images, organizing digital assets, and occasionally supporting basic video editing tasks to complement visual content.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Photo Retouching and Image Editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
Experience with Photo Research, including sourcing and curating images that align with brand and project requirements.
Foundational knowledge of Photography principles such as composition, lighting, and framing.
Ability to perform basic Video Editing to enhance multimedia content when needed.
Attention to detail, strong visual judgment, and the ability to maintain consistent quality across large sets of assets.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects.
Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in digital media, marketing, or a related creative field; formal training or coursework in design, photography, or media is beneficial.
