Role Description The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time, remote role focused on ensuring the reliability and performance of software products. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and executing manual test cases, logging and tracking defects, and collaborating with software developers to resolve quality issues. The role involves participating in requirement reviews, developing test plans and test scenarios, and validating new features before release. The engineer will help define and improve QA processes, maintain test documentation, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery practices. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver stable, user-friendly solutions on schedule.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance to design and execute comprehensive test strategies.
Candidates should possess skills in Manual Testing to plan, perform, and document functional, regression, and exploratory test activities.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development to understand code changes, collaborate effectively with engineers, and contribute to testability improvements.
Candidates should have experience with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and version control platforms.
Candidates should demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills to report findings and coordinate with distributed teams.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Experience with basic automation concepts, API testing, or performance testing is beneficial.
