Role Description The Software Tester is responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and validating that software products meet defined quality standards. In this full-time remote role, the Software Tester will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prepare test plans, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Daily tasks include performing manual and automated tests, documenting test results, reporting issues with clear steps to reproduce, and participating in review meetings to support continuous improvement. The role also involves contributing to the refinement of testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and product reliability.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with experience applying testing principles in real projects.
Hands-on experience with Test Execution and writing, reviewing, and maintaining Test Cases.
Well-developed Analytical Skills to investigate issues, interpret results, and provide clear, data-driven feedback.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools and testing frameworks (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar) is beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with basic automation testing concepts and scripting is a plus.
