Role Description The Website Testing role at EgoTECHworld is a full-time remote position focused on ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of web applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and executing test cases, performing functional, regression, and usability testing, and documenting issues with clear, actionable details. The role involves collaborating with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to validate fixes and improvements, while maintaining detailed test reports and tracking defects. The Website Tester also contributes to refining testing processes, suggesting enhancements to user experience, and helping ensure that releases meet defined quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Testing skills, including familiarity with different testing types and methodologies.
Candidates should possess solid Test Cases skills, including designing, executing, and maintaining structured test scenarios.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to identify patterns, troubleshoot issues, and interpret test results.
Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to report defects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document findings.
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser tools is beneficial.
Experience with test management or bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar) is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Relevant education or certifications in software testing, quality assurance, or information technology are preferred but not strictly required.
