Role Description The User Experience Researcher is a full-time remote role focused on understanding user needs, behaviors, and pain points to inform product and design decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting user research studies, such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and contextual inquiries. The role involves synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings, creating clear reports and presentations, and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate insights into actionable recommendations. The User Experience Researcher will help shape research roadmaps, contribute to design workshops, and advocate for user-centered thinking throughout the product development lifecycle. This position requires strong communication skills, a structured approach to research, and comfort working with distributed teams.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Computer Interaction and UX Research to design and execute user-centered studies.
Experience with User Research methods and Design Thinking to discover, frame, and solve user problems.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and translate findings into clear insights.
Ability to create research plans, screen participants, and manage end-to-end research processes.
Proficiency in documenting insights through reports, personas, journey maps, and presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with remote research tools and usability testing platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in technology or digital product environments is beneficial.
