Role Description The Vue.js Frontend Creator is a full-time remote role responsible for building and maintaining responsive user interfaces for web applications using Vue.js and related tools. Day-to-day tasks include translating UI/UX designs into clean, reusable components, integrating frontend views with APIs, and optimizing pages for performance and accessibility. The role also involves collaborating with backend developers and designers, participating in code reviews, and ensuring consistent implementation of design systems and best practices. The Vue.js Frontend Creator will troubleshoot UI issues, write clear documentation, and contribute ideas to improve the product’s usability and overall user experience. This role requires proactive communication in a distributed team and ownership of assigned features from concept to deployment.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with experience building component-based SPAs.
Skills in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap) for creating accessible, mobile-friendly interfaces.
Experience with state management and tooling in the Vue ecosystem (e.g., Vuex/Pinia, Vue Router, Vite/Webpack).
Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating frontend components with backend services.
Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, GitHub/GitLab) and standard CI/CD workflows.
Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, basic SEO for SPAs, and cross-browser compatibility testing.
Ability to write clear documentation, follow coding standards, and participate in constructive code reviews.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort collaborating with designers and backend developers.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in frontend development is preferred.
