Role Description The Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications and sites that support EgoTECHworld’s services and content. In this full-time remote role, the person will work closely with cross-functional teams to build responsive user interfaces, implement secure and scalable back-end functionality, and integrate APIs and third-party tools. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient code, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compatibility across devices and browsers. The Web Developer will also collaborate on technical improvements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to documentation and best practices to maintain a high-quality development environment.
Qualifications
Front-End Development and Web Design skills to create accessible, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
Back-End Web Development and Programming skills to build, integrate, and maintain secure, scalable application logic.
Web Development experience across the full stack, including deployment, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency with modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one framework such as React, Vue, or Angular).
Experience with server-side languages or frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar) and working with APIs and databases.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with UI/UX principles, security best practices, and cloud or hosting platforms is beneficial.
