Role Description The Web Development Intern role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and websites. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with front-end and back-end development tasks, implementing user interface designs, and collaborating with team members on feature updates and bug fixes. The intern will help test and debug code, optimize site performance, and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices. This role also involves participating in virtual meetings, documenting work, and communicating progress clearly to mentors and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Design to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and general Web Development to support server-side logic, integrations, and application functionality.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with at least one back-end language or framework (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP) is beneficial.
Understanding of version control tools (such as Git), problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
