Role Description The Web Pages Designer is a full-time role based in Geneva with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this role, the designer will create, update, and optimize web pages, ensuring visually appealing, accessible, and responsive designs across devices. Day-to-day tasks include designing landing pages, defining page layouts, aligning visual design with brand guidelines, and collaborating with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement designs. The designer will also review analytics and user feedback to improve usability, maintain design consistency across publications, and contribute to new concepts for digital experiences.
Qualifications
Experience in Web Design and Landing Pages, with a focus on responsive, user-centered interfaces.
Strong skills in Page Layout and visual structure for digital content, including basic understanding of Publications design.
Background in Newspaper Design or editorial-style layouts, with the ability to adapt print concepts to digital formats.
Proficiency with common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and basic familiarity with HTML/CSS.
Ability to translate requirements into clear wireframes and mockups, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, strong visual design sense, and commitment to accessibility and usability best practices.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment across remote and on-site settings.
Relevant education or equivalent experience in web design, graphic design, digital media, or a related field.
