Role Description The Web System Developer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web-based systems and applications. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing software features, integrating databases, optimizing system performance, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions. The role involves programming, troubleshooting issues, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with other team members to define system requirements and technical specifications. The Web System Developer will also perform testing, documentation, and ongoing maintenance to keep systems stable and up to date.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in System Development, including designing, implementing, and maintaining web-based architectures.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, with experience in building and deploying web applications.
Candidates should possess Programming skills in one or more modern languages commonly used for web development (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP, or similar).
Candidates should possess Databases skills, including working with relational or NoSQL databases and writing efficient queries.
Candidates should possess Testing skills, including unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure system reliability.
Experience with web frameworks, APIs, and version control tools (such as Git) is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment are required.
A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
