Role Description The Web UI Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered web interfaces. Day-to-day tasks include designing page layouts, defining visual styles, and producing UI components that align with brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with developers, content creators, and product stakeholders to translate requirements and user stories into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. The Web UI Designer will optimize designs for responsiveness across devices, perform iterative improvements based on user feedback and analytics, and help maintain a consistent design system for EgoTECHworld’s web properties.
Qualifications
Strong visual design skills, including color theory, typography, and layout.
Experience with responsive web design and web design best practices.
Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and user-centered design processes.
Graphic design capabilities for creating icons, illustrations, and other UI assets.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar applications.
Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes and hand off assets to developers.
Understanding of basic HTML/CSS and how designs translate into front-end implementation.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with remote, cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and openness to feedback and iteration.
Relevant education or equivalent experience in design, human-computer interaction, or related fields.
