Role Description The Web User Interface Developer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining user-facing web interfaces. Day-to-day work includes translating design mockups and user requirements into responsive, accessible, and performant web pages and applications. The role involves collaborating with designers, back-end developers, and product stakeholders to refine user experience, implement interface components, and ensure consistency across platforms and devices. The developer will review and improve existing UI features, resolve bugs, optimize front-end performance, and follow best practices in code quality and version control. This position also contributes to documentation, participates in code reviews, and helps evaluate new front-end tools and frameworks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
Candidates should possess Web Development and Software Development skills to integrate user interfaces with back-end services and APIs.
Candidates should possess User Experience (UX) skills, focusing on usability, accessibility, and intuitive interaction design.
Candidates should possess Responsive Web Design skills to deliver consistent experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with modern build tools (e.g., webpack, Vite), version control (Git), UI component libraries, and testing frameworks.
A background in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with strong communication and collaboration abilities, is preferred.
