1. UTE CAT — Multi-Tenant Content Management System
Backend Lead / Core Module

Took ownership of the backend for a configurable, multi-tenant CMS, including the database structure and core architecture. The system supports nested categories with their own branding, navigation, and layouts, allowing content and presentation changes without redeploying the application. Handled the module from initial design through API development, integration, testing, and production support. Also supported a junior developer through code reviews and architecture walkthroughs.

2. UploadShield — Secure File Intelligence & Malware Detection System

Final Year Project

Built a secure file-upload and analysis platform for identifying potentially malicious PDF files. The system combines PDF structural analysis with machine-learning classification to improve detection. Developed the backend workflow for file ingestion, quarantine storage, and audit logging, while also working on exploratory data analysis and feature engineering for the machine-learning model.

3. Virakesari Election Systems — Real-Time Election Processing Platform

Built a lightweight backend for processing election results in real time during live broadcasts. Used JSON-based processing along with query and memory optimizations to keep the system stable under high traffic. Its reliability during the Presidential Election led to the system being used commercially again for the General Election.

4. PickMe Merchant Onboarding

Worked directly with the PickMe team to understand requirements and build a secure merchant onboarding backend. The system included OTP verification, CAPTCHA, encrypted data handling, validated file uploads, and AJAX-based submissions. Worked through multiple rounds of testing and review to ensure the solution met both security and functional requirements.

5. DocxAlert API — Secure Document Processing System

Built RESTful APIs and database structures to support secure document-processing workflows. Added scheduled background tasks for automated processing and asynchronous operations.

6. RedDot Tours — Travel Management & CMS Platform

Worked on backend functionality for hotel and itinerary management, along with CMS features. Collaborated within an agile team and translated client requirements provided through project managers into practical backend solutions and RESTful API integrations.

7. SLIIT System — Academic & Communication Platform

Built backend modules for academic and communication features, including a CMS-style system for managing study content and automated email functionality.

8. MyPaper Virakesari — Backend Reliability & Integration

Investigated and resolved backend defects and integration issues, helping improve the reliability and stability of the production system.

9. CDB Website — Financial Services Platform

Handled backend maintenance, third-party integrations, and support for new website pages for a financial services client, contributing to the ongoing stability and functionality of the platform.
