The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and back-end services that support EgoTECHworld’s technology solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented designs, integrating APIs and databases, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The role also involves participating in code reviews, collaborating with cross-functional team members, and contributing to architectural and technical decisions. The ideal candidate will continuously enhance systems for performance, security, and scalability while staying current with modern engineering practices and tools. Qualifications foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production-grade applications. Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks. Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for designing modular and maintainable code. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Ability to write clear, maintainable documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools is a plus.
