Role Description The Business System Analyst will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand needs, document requirements, and translate them into effective system solutions. In this full-time remote role, the individual will analyze existing processes, identify gaps, propose improvements, and support the design and implementation of new features or systems. Daily responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing business requirements, creating detailed functional specifications, and collaborating with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure solutions meet agreed objectives. The role also involves supporting user acceptance testing, preparing documentation and process flows, and assisting with change management and user training as needed. The Business System Analyst will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements to optimize business outcomes. Qualifications Strong business-focused skills including Business Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, and defining Business Requirements. Technical and process-oriented capabilities in Systems Analysis and translating business needs into system designs. Well-developed Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement. Experience creating documentation such as use cases, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and facilitate requirement workshops. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile or Scrum methodologies, and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar). Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in IT or software implementation projects and comfort working in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
