Role Description The Associate Software QA Engineer role is a full-time, remote position focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. In this role, you will review requirements and specifications, design and execute manual test cases, and document test results clearly and accurately. You will log, track, and verify defects, collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve issues and improve overall product quality. Daily responsibilities include participating in review meetings, contributing to test planning, and supporting regression, functional, and integration testing activities. You will also help refine QA processes, maintain test documentation, and provide feedback to enhance user experience and product stability. Qualifications Strong foundation in software quality concepts, including Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance. Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking. Basic understanding of Software Development principles to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. Familiarity with issue-tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail or similar) is preferred. Ability to follow structured testing processes, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting defects and working with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial. Interest in learning automation testing tools and modern QA practices is a plus.
