Role Description The Assistant Web Developer role at Egotechworld is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and websites. In this role, you will assist in implementing front-end interfaces, updating layouts, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly designs. You will help develop and maintain back-end components, integrate APIs, and troubleshoot technical issues under the guidance of senior developers. Daily tasks include writing clean, documented code, participating in code reviews, testing features, and collaborating with designers, content creators, and other developers. You will also contribute to technical documentation and support the deployment and monitoring of web solutions. Qualifications Strong foundational skills in Web Development and Programming, with the ability to learn new tools and frameworks. Experience or coursework in Front-End Development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related libraries or frameworks). Basic understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts (e.g., server-side languages, databases, APIs). Knowledge of Web Design principles, including responsive design, usability, and accessibility best practices. Relevant education, bootcamp, or self-taught portfolio demonstrating web projects or code samples. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with a distributed team. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic debugging and testing practices. Interest in staying current with emerging web technologies and willingness to learn from feedback and mentoring.
