Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a MERN Developer. The MERN Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. Daily responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, building and optimizing RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into clean, testable code, as well as participating in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement of existing features. The MERN Developer is also expected to follow best practices, maintain clear documentation, and contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented remote work environment. Qualifications Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js for full-stack JavaScript application development. Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web design. Experience with RESTful API design, integration, and working with JSON-based services. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, debugging, and code reviews. Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team, with clear written and verbal communication. Experience with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm, Yarn) is beneficial. Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker) is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Experience in agile or iterative development environments is advantageous.
