Role Description The Web User Interface Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered web interfaces. This role involves translating business and user requirements into clean layouts, designing responsive pages, and ensuring consistency across digital touchpoints. The designer will collaborate with product managers, developers, and content teams to develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that enhance usability and accessibility. Daily tasks include refining visual styles, conducting UI reviews, iterating on feedback, and maintaining design systems and asset libraries. The role also includes staying current with web design trends and best practices to continuously improve the user experience.
Qualifications
Strong visual and graphic design skills, including proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
Experience in web design and responsive web design, with the ability to create layouts that work across devices and screen sizes.
Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and best practices to design interfaces that are intuitive, accessible, and user-centered.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to ensure design feasibility is a plus.
Portfolio demonstrating web UI design work, including examples of responsive and UX-focused design.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
