Role Description The IT Project Manager role is a full-time, remote position responsible for leading technology projects from initiation through completion. Day-to-day, this role includes defining project scope and objectives, developing detailed project plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met. The IT Project Manager will monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. This role also involves collaborating with technical teams to align solutions with business needs, managing budgets and timelines, and continuously improving project management processes to support successful delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risks, and make informed decisions.
Candidates should possess Program Management and Project Planning skills to structure initiatives, define timelines, and coordinate deliverables.
Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge to understand systems, integrations, and technical constraints.
Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to engage stakeholders, document requirements, and present findings.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, and certifications like PMP or Agile/Scrum are beneficial.
Experience managing remote or distributed teams, using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project), and delivering IT projects in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
