Role Description The Associate Software Engineer role is a full-time remote position focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support EgoTECHworld’s IT products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing back-end features and APIs, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with senior engineers to refine system architecture. The role involves participating in code reviews, contributing to documentation, and following established development standards and best practices. The Associate Software Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement of technology offerings. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and Software Development practices Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including APIs and server-side logic Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow version control workflows (e.g., Git) Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript) Understanding of databases, basic data structures, and algorithms Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, distributed team Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Interest in continuous learning, staying current with emerging technologies, and contributing to technical discussions or content
