Role Description The Software Tester role is a full-time remote position responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions delivered by EgoTECHworld. On a day-to-day basis, the Software Tester will design, review, and execute test cases, identify defects, and document test results clearly and accurately. The role involves collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, validate new features, and support regression and integration testing. The Software Tester will contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, help maintain testing standards, and provide clear feedback on product quality and usability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
Candidates should possess expertise in Test Execution and Test Cases for both manual and, ideally, automated testing workflows.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to investigate defects, interpret test results, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Candidates should possess familiarity with common testing tools, bug-tracking systems, and version control platforms.
Candidates should possess the ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
Experience with basic automation frameworks, Agile or Scrum methodologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts is an advantage.
