Role Description The Software Dev Remote role is a full-time position focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and services. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, collaborating with other developers and stakeholders, and contributing to technical documentation. The role involves working with databases, Linux-based environments, and Java or similar programming languages to build and improve scalable solutions. The position is fully remote, requiring effective communication, reliable time management, and proactive coordination with a distributed team through online tools and platforms.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience designing and implementing robust applications.
Hands-on experience working with Databases, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in Linux environments, including command-line usage, scripting, and basic system administration.
Practical experience with Java, including object-oriented design and familiarity with common frameworks or libraries.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborative development practices.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with a distributed team.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
