Role Description The Data Science Internship at EgoTECHworld is a full-time remote role focused on supporting data-driven initiatives across the organization. Interns will work with datasets to clean, organize, and analyze information, applying basic statistical and data science techniques to generate insights. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in building analytical models, performing exploratory data analysis, preparing visualizations and reports, and helping document methodologies and findings. Interns may collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams on projects related to IT solutions and tech content, and will be expected to learn and apply new tools, follow best practices, and contribute to improving data workflows.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and solve problems.
Foundational knowledge of Statistics for hypothesis testing, probability, and data interpretation.
Exposure to Data Science concepts, including basic modeling, machine learning fundamentals, or algorithmic thinking.
Experience or coursework in Data Analytics and Data Analysis, including working with structured data and generating insights.
Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data science (such as Python or R) and data manipulation libraries.
Basic understanding of data visualization tools or libraries (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Matplotlib, or similar).
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with mentors and team members.
