Role Description The System Application Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support EgoTECHworld’s IT solutions and internal systems. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using object-oriented principles, designing and optimizing database structures, and integrating applications with various data sources and services. The developer will configure and manage application environments on Linux-based systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. The role also involves participating in code reviews, improving system performance, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Databases and Database Design. Candidates should possess practical experience working with Linux environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar). Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
