Role Description The Product Designer will work in a full-time, remote capacity, shaping user-centered digital products from concept to implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research, defining product requirements, and creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that align with business goals and user needs. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and content teams to refine features, improve usability, and ensure consistent visual design standards. The Product Designer will iterate on feedback, analyze user data to inform design decisions, and contribute to design systems and documentation to maintain a cohesive product experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Product Design skills, with the ability to translate requirements into clear user journeys and interfaces. Candidates should possess Visual Design skills, including layout, typography, and color theory, to create clean, accessible, and engaging interfaces. Candidates should possess Design Thinking skills to frame problems, ideate solutions, and prototype and test concepts in an iterative manner. Candidates should possess User Research and UX Research skills to plan studies, gather insights, and apply findings to improve product usability and value. Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), understanding of responsive and mobile-first design, and familiarity with basic front-end capabilities. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, plus experience working with cross-functional teams in a remote environment, are highly desirable. A relevant degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
