Role Description The Freelance Product Designer will work full time in a remote capacity, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, user-centered digital products. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing product concepts, creating wireframes and high-fidelity visual designs, and refining user flows based on feedback and research insights. The role involves conducting and synthesizing user and UX research, applying design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems, and ensuring consistency across interfaces and components. The designer will participate in design reviews, iterate on solutions based on stakeholder input and user data, and deliver production-ready assets that align with brand and product strategy. Qualifications Strong product-focused mindset with skills in Product Design and Design Thinking to create user-centered solutions. Experience conducting and applying insights from User Research and UX Research to inform design decisions. Proficiency in Visual Design, including layout, typography, color, and component design for digital interfaces. Ability to use modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and collaborate via remote platforms. Demonstrated portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, from research and concepts to shipped experiences. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to diverse stakeholders. Comfort working independently in a remote, full-time freelance capacity, managing priorities and deadlines effectively. Relevant education or practical experience in design, HCI, or a related field; experience in tech or SaaS products is a plus.
