Role Description This full-time remote Software Engineer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and applications that support EgoTECHworld’s technology solutions. The Software Engineer will write clean, efficient, and testable code, implement APIs, optimize application performance, and ensure reliability and scalability of systems. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing code, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical documentation. The role also includes staying informed about new technologies, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting deployments and integration efforts.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production-ready applications.
Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Relevant experience with version control (e.g., Git), testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and security best practices is a plus.
