Role Description The Web Developer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and sites that align with business and user needs. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end interfaces, building and optimizing back-end services, writing clean and efficient code, and ensuring responsive, accessible, and secure web experiences. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and troubleshooting bugs or performance issues. The Web Developer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and stay current with emerging web technologies and best practices. Qualifications Strong Web Development skills, with experience building and maintaining modern web applications Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive Web Design Experience in Back-End Web Development and Programming using relevant frameworks and languages Understanding of usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility in Web Design and implementation Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in coding, testing, and debugging Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience Experience with APIs, databases, and security best practices is an advantage
