Role Description This full-time remote Software Developer role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support EgoTECHworld’s IT solutions and digital platforms. The Software Developer will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, implement back-end web services and APIs, and collaborate with other team members on architecture and design decisions. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting code reviews, optimizing performance, and ensuring code quality and security best practices. The role also involves participating in agile development processes, contributing to technical documentation, and staying current with emerging technologies relevant to the company’s products and services. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and software design. Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production-grade applications. Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks. Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Ability to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with cloud platforms, security best practices, and agile methodologies is beneficial.
