Role Description The Business System Analyst role is a full-time, remote position responsible for bridging business needs and technical solutions. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing current systems and workflows, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand objectives, translating requirements into clear functional specifications, and supporting implementation with the technical team. The Business System Analyst will also perform data and process analysis, assist in testing and validation of system changes, and help prepare user documentation and training materials. This position requires regular communication with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business goals and are delivered on schedule. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis skills to evaluate, design, and optimize technology-enabled business processes. Candidates should possess solid Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to gather, document, and translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable specifications. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making. Relevant experience working on IT or software projects, including requirements management, process mapping, and stakeholder communication. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing documentation, reports, and presentations. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with project management or Agile methodologies and common business analysis tools is beneficial.
