Role Description The System Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software and system solutions that support EgoTECHworld’s products and services. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing system components, writing clean and efficient code, managing and integrating databases, and ensuring system reliability through comprehensive testing. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance and scalability. The System Developer is also expected to document technical specifications, participate in code reviews, and stay current with evolving technologies and development best practices. Qualifications Strong skills in System Development and Software Development, including designing and implementing scalable, maintainable solutions. Proficiency in Programming using one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and familiarity with development frameworks. Experience working with Databases, including schema design, querying, optimization, and integration with applications. Competence in Testing, including unit, integration, and system testing, as well as debugging and performance tuning. Understanding of software architecture principles, APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or containerization (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
