Role Description The Associate Software QA Engineer is a full-time remote role focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. This role involves designing and executing manual test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and documenting test results and defects in a clear and organized manner. The Associate Software QA Engineer will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, validate features, and support timely release cycles. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in review meetings, maintaining test documentation, assisting with test environment setup, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Software Quality, Software Quality Assurance, and Quality Assurance to ensure consistent standards across releases. Candidates should possess skills in Manual Testing to design, execute, and document detailed test cases for various software features. Candidates should possess foundational skills in Software Development to understand code changes, workflows, and technical constraints when reviewing features and defects. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to testing and documentation. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional environment. Familiarity with issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar) and basic knowledge of version control systems is beneficial. Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Interest in continuous learning and staying current with QA methodologies, testing tools, and emerging software development practices.
