Role Description The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support EgoTECHworld’s products and internal platforms. This full-time remote role involves implementing backend services, writing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications, integrate APIs, and ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability. The role also includes documenting technical work, contributing to architecture discussions, and continuously improving development processes and tools. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and services Knowledge of software testing practices, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD workflows Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and write maintainable, secure code Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience Experience with cloud platforms, relational or NoSQL databases, and modern backend frameworks is a plus
