Role Description The Software Developer role at EgoTECHworld is a full-time remote position focused on designing, building, and maintaining software solutions for internal and client-facing projects. In this role, the developer will write clean, efficient code, implement back-end web services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into stable applications. Day-to-day tasks include participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging issues, improving performance and scalability, and contributing to technical documentation. The developer will work closely with other engineers to adopt best practices, integrate APIs and databases, and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with project timelines. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain robust applications. Solid Programming skills, including proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns. Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and integrating services, APIs, and databases. Ability to analyze requirements, break down complex problems, and propose effective technical solutions. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong communication, time management, and self-organization skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with modern development frameworks, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices is a plus.
